A Soft Space For Santa

I'm never gonna understand why everybody in this world doesn't feel the extreme need to decorate every square inch of their garden? Oh I know why.... they are not POSSESSED. You know what they say... somebody's gotta do it
Soooo...
Next time you're at Kohl's pick up some Snow Man pillows.
They cost $11.00  (half price)

If nothing else, you're making a soft place to land for old Santa.
look at him, the poor boy's starving from all this toy building.
Maybe it's Mrs. Claus's fault Santa is so dern skinny.  Maybe we need to direct her to
 Let Them Eat Cake!
This lil sweet fat baby came from T.J. Maxx.
$9.99

No! I'm not suggesting you set fresh flowers out for Santa Claus... I got these last week from Mr. Roger's store, first initial K.  They were half price from $15.00 to $7.00.  I even added some eucalyptus from my own yard to jazz up this
arrangement.  The reason they got kicked outta the house is because, frankly my dear, they stink.  seriously.

At first I thought it was Lil Idiot.  He was very upset with me after a brutal hair stylist got a hold of him. I thought he may have playing the 'pay back' game.
you know the one I'm referring to...
We discussed it in length...no pun intended
and he was not the one causing the stink.  At least not this time..
Now that I'm looking at him....Lil Idiot is looking pretty skinny himself....better go dig out those scoobie treats :)

Bring The Outdoors Inside!

Since my tulips are nesting in the ground; waiting on the spring to SPRING up...

 Yawn.......snorsville.......
Ho Hum...boring!

I took matters into my own hands and headed to Mr. Roger's store, first initial K, and snagged up some half price tulips! This whole bunch cost me about 6 bucks.

There's A Fungus Among Us

There's a stink outside my front door and nobody's owning up to it.
I turn the finger directly to the usual suspects. My kids.
Everybody brushed their teeth?
Check.  Teeth brushed.
Dogs carrying around any yard kill carcases?
Nope.  Just our socks....that I bought last week ~ to replace the old socks that they carried outside to bury, tear holes in and destroy....
Anybody seen the next door neighbors lately?  They sure have been quiet lately.
Oh ~ never mind, they're not dead, I see them pulling out of their driveway now.
Probably to get away from the stink.
Scan yard for evidence leading up to source of stink.
Ahhhhh, sweet bunny.  He looks so cute.  Hey, wait a minute, he's turning his head away in disgust too.
Concrete bunny can't stand the stink either!!!!!!
How could he? The stink vapors are coming from right in front of his lil nose.

See that brain looking thing?  It's the source of the stink!!! Woof!!!! It's disgusting!!! When you catch a whiff of this, you will be RUNNING to get away from it.
I dig up foul stink and take it to garden shop.
Gag all the way down the road.
Garden lady tells me it's a fungus from over watering. (Who me???? Over water???) The only way to get rid of it is to dig it up and dispose of it.
Which is what I'm about to do......
As soon as I can find my gas mask.....

Lettuce eat a decent ham sandwich!!!!

I was in the mood for a ham sandwich with fresh lettuce so I ......

walked to my back yard.

There I found rosemary, chives, parsley, strawberry plants, and 3 types of lettuce.

If you think a winter garden is too much much trouble, think again...
The peeps love it and will want to help you "pick the garden!"
